Deputy Principal’s Message
Dear Sirius College Family,
I would like to extend a warm welcome to all the students and their families this year. We trust that your child’s education at Sirius College would be a memorable and successful one. I admire this time as an opportunity to introduce myself to our school’s community.
I was born and raised in Melbourne, mainly in the northern suburbs of Victoria. I started my education journey at a government school as a prep student in 1996 and later moved to another school in the name of Isik College, currently known to be Sirius College. Basically, I completed my primary and secondary education at our own schools.
I successfully completed the following courses at university,
In 2014, I began working at Sirius College as an integration Aide. I was only 24 Years of age and everything for me at school was new. In 2015, I started teaching Religion & values on a full time basis.
In 2017 I was selected to be the Pastoral Care & Well-being coordinator for the Eastmeadows campus along with being the head of the Religion and values department. Having two positions of responsibility at the same time was very stressful yet a learning experience on my behalf.
At the end of 2019, I was appointed the Deputy Principal for the Eastmeadows/Dallas campus.
Therefore, it is my pleasure to meet with all of you. As your child's Deputy Principal I have an open door policy, please do not hesitate to come see me if you have any concerns regarding our policies, procedures or anything else that is related to your child’s education.
Once again, I eagerly look forward to getting to know students and families. It remains an honour and privilege to serve as the Deputy Principal. Please stop by and say hello. Together, I know we will make this school year one of growth and achievement for all children.
